Target is Going to Sell That Iconic Stranger Things Hoodie

Mark your calendars.

Stranger Things might not be returning for season three until late 2018 or even early 2019, but you can now get your hands on one of the most iconic pieces of the wardrobe from this past season. (You know: just to tide you over.) While we’ve loved Eleven’s pink smocked dress, or the overall retro looks that Mike, Lucas, and Will sported so well, it was Dustin’s purple sweatshirt that stole the sartorial show.

In season 2 of the hit Netflix show, Dustin wore a bright purple hoodie from the Science Museum of Minnesota that features a Brontosaurus in white graphics on the front. Merch, taken to the next level.

The popularity of the vintage hoodie prompted the museum to bring the style back into rotation early last fall, but the sell-out rate was one that they didn’t quite expect. The Star Tribune reported that “social media went crazy and the museum was flooded with calls from fans eager to buy the hoodie, so the Science Museum quickly set in motion manufacturing the apparel again.” Back in November, the style was sold out and could be purchased on a wait-list basis only.

Though the museum has since re-stocked their full collection, Target has made it a whole lot easier for all Stranger Things fans to get their hands on the item, selling the style in a range of sweatshirts, tops, and tees. According to a press release by the brand, the collection will be available at the end of February in select brick-and-mortar stores and on Target.com. Ranging in price from $13 to $25, it’s a sure bet we’re going to be stocking up on our favorite science nerd’s most beloved hoodie. How about you?
