You only have 4 more days to shop Target’s major fall sale — and get up to 40% off

If you've been saving up for a new set of headphones, want to redecorate your home or are finally ready to buy an air fryer, now is the time. Target kicked off one of its biggest sales of the year on Sunday, and it lasts for an entire week.

Target Circle Week runs from Sunday, Oct. 1, through Saturday, Oct. 7, offering up to 40% off across home goods, tech, apparel and more. However, you have to be a Target Circle member to shop. Not a member? No worries. Unlike Amazon Prime, becoming a Target Circle member is totally free, and it should take you less than five minutes to sign up. Once you do, you can shop the deals online, in stores and via the Target mobile app.

• Get 15% off one qualifying in-store or online purchase

• Up to 40% off kitchen items

• Up to 40% off floor care items

• 30% off women’s sweaters, denim, jewelry, accessories and shoes

• 30% off select Halloween costumes and accessories

• 20% off bedding items

• 20% off pet food and toys

• Save up to $175 on select Apple Products

• Save $70 on Beats headphones

• Spend $50 on household essentials and receive a $15 Target gift card

• Spend $25 on select beauty brands and receive a $5 Target gift card

• 50% off an annual Shipt membership

You may remember the major retailer hosting Target Deal Days in years past to compete with Amazon Prime Day. Last year, the sale was three days long, and anyone could score the savings. However, this year, the sale has a new name, an extended shopping period and is exclusively open to Target Circle members (remember — it’s easy and free to become a member).

Along with getting to shop the week-long sale, Target Circle members receive 1% cash back on non-RedCard purchases and 5% off a shopping trip during the member’s birthday month. Target Circle members also get to vote on which nonprofits Target directs its donations to in their communities. Now, if you have Target’s credit card, also called a RedCard, you’ll also receive 5% off all Target purchases — but that’s separate from becoming a Target Circle member.

If you’re already a Target Circle member or are about to sign up, head to Target’s website to shop the sale right now. Unlike Black Friday, you don’t have to think about shopping for anyone but yourself — although you could get a jump-start on your holiday list. But otherwise, this is your time to upgrade your home, wardrobe or even your pantry. Think of it as a little gift to yourself!
