Target’s Car Seat Trade-In Event Just Got Sweeter With Surprise Savings on Celeb-Loved Mockingbird Strollers

It’s that time of year again! The Target Car Seat Trade-In Event has begun, and it’s ridiculously dorky how excited I am for this event. But it’s a big. deal. Because it’s actually really hard to recycle an old car seat. You might not be able to drop it curbside and you need to check the expiration date before donating.

Luckily, Target makes it easy during their trade-in event.

From now until April 27 (this Saturday!), shoppers can drop off old car seats (any brand or size!) at participating locations. The materials from those seats will then be recycled and turned into pallets, plastic buckets, carpet padding, and more. Since launching in 2016, Target’s program has reportedly recycled more than 2.6 million car seats or more than 39 million pounds of materials.

PLUS! Participants don’t just do something great for the planet. They also do good by their wallet, earning themselves a 20 percent off coupon for a new car seat, stroller, or select baby gear. (See why I’m so excited?!)

And yes, Mockingbird products are included. The celeb-loved Mockingbird Single-To-Double 2.0 stroller will be 10 percent off for all shoppers, and that 20 percent off coupon for trading in a car seat can be stacked on top. That makes the ingenious stroller that Brittany Mahomes uses with kids Sterling and Bronze come to just $315.

So why all the love for the Mockingbird? This stroller, which can fit two seats and a riding board for kids to stand on, boasts more than nineteen possible configurations. When Brittany showed off her Mockingbird stroller last year, Sterling was sitting forward-facing and Bronze was rear-facing, but we’re sure [at least] one of them will want to hop on the detachable riding board soon.

And Brittany isn’t the only parent who was happy with her decision to snag the stroller that has more than 3 thousand rave reviews on Target.com.

“Highly recommend!!!” one person said. “This stroller is truly amazing! From the strong sturdy wheels to the single to double option, to the ability to switch from car seat to bassinet by just a click away!!”

The Mockingbird stroller isn’t the only way for shoppers to use that 20 percent off coupon, but it’s certainly one of the ways we’re most excited about since this brand hardly ever goes on sale. And remember, if you don’t have a car seat to trade in, you can still save 10 percent starting on April 14.

These baby and toddler food delivery services make mealtime so much easier.
