Tarek El Moussa Says Heather Rae Young Is His Family's "Rock" and "Best Friend" in Sweet Anniversary Post

Over the weekend, Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young hit another anniversary milestone: 18 months together! El Moussa took to Instagram to pen his fiancée a sweet note for the occasion as well as reflect on what a blessing she has been for his family, too.
"It’s incredible to think how much life can change in a short period of time, he wrote accompanying an early photo of the pair dining out in New York City. The HGTV star continued to explain that he and Young just hit a year and a half of dating, adding "and I love this girl more and more by the day."
He then sheds light on their relationship's fast-paced timeline—proving that not every couple has to take things slow in order to work. "I came home with @heatherraeyoung after 4 days of dating, she moved in, and we never looked back," he said, adding, "everyone said I was crazy but here we are engaged almost two years later."
He continued to share how Young has been a perfect addition to his family. "She has exponentially improved the lives of everyone in my family," he said, speaking for both him and his two kids, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa. "She’s our rock, our best friend, and my hunny bunny. We love you to the moon and back," he wrote, followed by three heart emojis.
El Moussa and Young started dating in July 2019 and got engaged on their one-year anniversary during a romantic getaway on Catalina Islands. As El Moussa has revealed during past interviews, his daughter Taylor had an instant connection with Young. In fact, the 10-year-old recently appeared on an episode of El Moussa's new mini series, Tarek's Flip Side, where she shared her thoughts on her dad's fiancée. "She’s so nice, she does all this kind stuff. She's the best. I love hanging out with her," Taylor said during the episode.
While El Moussa's son's connection with Young wasn't immediate, the five-year-old has also has been revealed to be a fan of his stepmom-to-be. Not to mention, Young has taken the front row in all of the family's affairs and celebrations.
