Divorces are never easy, especially when you're constantly in the public eye. When it comes to Christina and Ant Anstead's divorce, Ant has been more vocal about his feelings than his ex wife. In fact, he even gave his first interview with People about the split last month, where he shared that he was in a "very dark place" for a while. Meanwhile, Christina has yet to discuss any details regarding the breakup with the media.

This week, though, Tarek El Moussa, Christina's first ex-husband and current Flip or Flop co-star, chatted with Us Weekly about his co-star, whose new show Christina: Stronger by Design launched this week.

"She’s doing pretty good," El Moussa, 39, exclusively told the outlet on Thursday. "You know, we don’t talk too much personal stuff, but based on what I know, she’s doing great," he continued. With filming for season 10 of Flip or Flop in progress, as well as continuing to co-parent their two children Taylor and Brayden together, El Moussa sees Christina frequently.

Christina announced that she and Ant were splitting up in September 2020 after 20 months of marriage. The news came days after they celebrated their son Hudson's first birthday.

As Ant confirmed in his interview with People last month, Christina was the one who wanted to separate. "I think everybody knows this was not my decision," he told the outlet. "I had so much love for her," he added, detailing the steps he took (and is still taking) to heal. This included enrolling in a five-week breakup recovery course, making changes to his diet and exercise routine, and saying a prayer of gratitude daily.

"The thing about healing is sometimes you feel like you’re making daily progress, and then, from nowhere, your legs get taken out, and you feel like you start again,” Ant revealed. But I'm certainly making steps towards healing, even if it's really slow."
