Should Couples Work Together? Tarek El Moussa Shares That Girlfriend Heather Rae Young Will Be On His New Show

It’s official: Tarek El Moussa’s new HGTV show, Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, will premiere on March 5, at 9 pm. The 14-episode original series will feature Tarek mentoring real estate rookies and sharing all the lessons he’s learned about successfully flipping a house for profit.

El Moussa shared a clip of the show to Instagram last week, which you can catch below. The clip shows the 37-year-old HGTV star leading a couple through their first flip and helping them negotiate during a business call. As El Moussa is the teacher in this series, he take a backseat to most of the decision-making, and instead works on taking notes and providing feedback to the first-time flipper(s). During the open house, you'll see that he has actually installed cameras (!!!) in the home that was flipped. The clip then shows the couple who flipped the home, and El Moussa, all huddled together in his van watching the open house as it takes place.

While we don't that much more about series yet, as details have been kept under wraps, we do know that one of El Moussa's flips actually burned down while filming. Yikes! We also know that his girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, will also be staring in at least one episode. El Moussa posted a photo of him and Young to Instagram, noting in the caption: "For the first time ever, @heatherraeyoung and I filmed my new show together." (He mentions that he rediscovered the photo on his phone, so it wasn't taken that day, as filming for the first season has ended.) El Moussa continues, "she was so cute on camera I couldn’t stop smiling." These two are getting close if you ask us! The couple has also recently moved in together, which he shared with his fans here.

Tarek El Moussa originally rose to fame alongside ex-wife Christina Anstead on Flip or Flop and the two will continue working together for Season 9. After divorcing from El Moussa, Anstead launched her own solo show with HGTV, Christina on the Coast, which is now on its second season.

“My passion for real estate has led me to flip hundreds of homes over the years and I’ve been incredibly lucky as an entrepreneur to build a successful business,” El Moussa said in a press release. “Now I get to help first-time flippers learn the ropes, find the best property deals and show them how to make the most profit on their investment.”
