Taraji P. Henson Is a Velvet-Clad Goddess on the Golden Globes Red Carpet

[SOUND] [INAUDIBLE]

Taraji P. Henson, whose first Golden Globes nomination in 2016 resulted in a win, is back on the carpet this year, and she hasn’t lost an ounce of ferocity.

Our InStyle January cover star made her Globes debut ten years ago in 2009, the same year she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Henson hit the carpet in a tiered chiffon J. Mendel gown with sheer and sparkling accents.

Seven years later, Henson owned the carpet Cookie-style in a flawless mermaid-cut white Stella McCartney gown with a larger-than-life cape.

Back as a presenter, Taraji followed up her pristine Globes look with a one of the most fabulous looks of the evening: a plunging forest green custom Vera Wang gown made of velvet. Henson wore her dark locks straight and parted down the middle for the occasion, a statement-making diamond choker circling her neck.

We know she’s not nominated, but give her all the awards!
