Tiger King has proven to be such a big hit that everyone is vying for a role in one of the many adaptations currently in development.

It was recently announced that Nicolas Cage is set to play Joe Exotic in a forthcoming limited scripted series based on the 2019 Texas Monthly article, "Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey into the World of a Man Gone Wild." Meanwhile, Kate McKinnon will star in and executive produce a series based upon the Wondery podcast, Joe Exotic.

Now, it's being reported that Tara Reid is being considered for the role of Carole Baskin, Exotic's longtime enemy, in one such production. As McKinnon has signed on to play Baskin in the adaptation of Wondery's podcast, it's possible that Reid is hoping to star opposite Cage in his version of the wild story.

Reid's manager and business partner, Philippe Ashfield, told The Post, "We are in talks with the producers and she is being considered, that is all I can say at the moment as casting is on hold." He also revealed, "Tara loves Tiger King and found the documentary extremely interesting. She feels she could get into the character of Carole Baskin very well… and she has a similar look to [Baskin]."

Ashfield also told People, "We can't say much other than she is being considered by the producers of the Tiger King production."
