It Was All A Dream | I Used To Read Word Up Magazine...the famous words drop out of Biggie's mouth and if we didn't know, now we know. Now let's take an iconic Napa Valley winery, aesthetically on-point with their throwback gas station HQ & tasting room in Calistoga, and pair them with *the shoe brand of the wine industry*. If you don't believe me, take stock of every winemaker, assistant winemaker, vineyard manager, vineyard worker, and anyone adjacent to their movements...take a look at what shoes are on their feet. Easy money says, they're sporting Blundstone. This powerhouse partnership brought to life a new bottling of epic proportions - It Was All a Dream. That's JUICY.

Tank Garage Winery, a wine brand that creates unique limited-edition wines and comes to life in a renovated 1930’s gas station in the Napa Valley town of Calistoga, is excited to debut It Was All a Dream — a limited-edition wine in collaboration with Blundstone, the original Chelsea boot brand established in 1870 in Tasmania, with label design by multi-disciplinary artist, Dwight White II, and supporting The Roots Fund, a nonprofit organization created to empower underrepresented individuals in the wine industry.

Give Back: For every bottle sold, $2 will be donated to The Roots Fund through Tank Cares, Tank Garage Winery’s give back initiative.

It Was All a Dream is inspired by both brand’s passions for helping others to pursue their dreams. Both deeply entrenched in the wine community, Tank Garage Winery and Blundstone have partnered with a shared mission to pay it forward. For every bottle of It Was All a Dream sold, they will donate two dollars to The Roots Fund through Tank Garage Winery’s program, Tank Cares, an initiative helping people live better lives, gain awareness, and pursue their dreams since 2019.

“Our winemaking team live in their Blundstones, from harvesting grapes in the vineyard to creating new wine blends in our winery, so a collaboration only felt natural to us,” said James Harder, co-founder of Tank Garage Winery. “This special wine release not only celebrates two brands coming together to showcase their unique crafts, and features amazing artwork by Dwight White II, but also highlights The Roots Fund and our commitment to supporting a very important organization in the wine industry.”

The Roots Fund is a nonprofit organization created to empower underrepresented individuals in the wine industry by providing resources and financial support, through educational scholarships, wine education, mentorship, and job placement. To continue building inclusivity in the wine industry, The Roots Fund is committed to investing in Black, Indigenous, and Latinx wine communities to provide opportunities to those seeking a career or education in all aspects of wine.

“Blundstone has a long and treasured history in the groves and cellars of wineries, with winemakers seeking out our boots for their unmatched durability and superb comfort that lasts from morning harvest to your dinner pour,” said Kate Shevack, Head of U.S. Marketing. “So, when the Tank Garage Winery team told us their story, we were eager to build a partnership that celebrated and connected our shared community of enthusiasts. Together, we’re able to bring a fantastic wine to the market, while supporting The Roots Fund who are making strides in industry accessibility for an often underrepresented group.”

It Was All a Dream is a limited-edition wine that retails for $70, with $2 of each sale donated to The Roots Fund. The red wine is a blend of 39% Shiraz, 32% Petite Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 7% Grenache, 6% Viognier, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Valdiguié, and 1% Négrette, and will be available for purchase on tankgaragewinery.com and at Tank Garage Winery located at 1020 Foothill Blvd., Calistoga, CA 94515.
