Tamron Hall Shut Down Any Rumors of a Feud With Kelly Clarkson in One Epic Sentence

If you’re looking for drama between Kelly Clarkson and Tamron Hall, you’re not going to find any here.

The Voice coach and the renowned journalist both launched their own talk shows this week, and each have garnered some solid ratings so far. But there are obviously trolls in this world who would want to pit the two daytime newbies against each other, and Tamron made it clear that she’s not going to bite.

In the first episode of her new series, Tamron extended a big congrats to the former American Idol winner, with a statement that shut down any possible rumors of a feud: “I will not be in a position where you pit me against another woman,” she told the crowd, according to The New York Daily News.

Tamron also opened up about her and Kelly’s projects in a candid interview with Good Housekeeping.

“There’s not a head to head. Anyone who would write, ‘oh there’s a battle’ is simply looking for a headline,” she said. “Kelly Clarkson will have a phenomenal show and I’m not just saying that, I’m saying that because I’m a fan of hers on American Idol, and she’s a fun-loving person.”

So there you have it! There’s room for The Kelly Clarkson Show and Tamron Hall to both knock it out of the park, and we’ll never say to no to more programs that make us laugh or ugly cry. Congrats to both women on their debuts!
