The back-to-school season can be an exciting and emotional time for parents, especially the ones sending their kids for the very first time. Tamron Hall is proving that even celebrities aren't immune to those teary-eyed moments.

On September 14, the daytime TV talk show host posted a clip on Instagram after dropping her son Moses, 3 , off at his first day of school with some emotion in her voice talking about the "mom moment" she had. The former broadcast journalist, who was heading over to be on Live With Kelly and Ryan, revealed that she got choked up when her young son started getting emotional himself.

"This morning was Moses' first day of school ... so I'm an emotional wreck," she said in the video. "He cried, he was the only one in his class to cry ... But he's the only one because it's his first year. Everyone else has gone before."

Naturally, Tamron Hall Show fans flocked to the comment section to show her a little support. Unsurprisingly, many understood exactly what she was going through.

"You should have asked us. That 1st day of school will knock the wind out of you. 😢," wrote one person. "We love Moses he's so bright cute and adorable 👏👏," another added. "❤️❤️ I know you wanted to stay with him!!" a different fan said.

Other parents shared similar stories of emotional school drop-offs and praised her for prioritizing her family even while having professional commitments. "Heck yeah 👏 family first ✨," a follower commented. "The 1st of everything your child does is a tear jerking moment. Keep the tissues close," another chimed in.

Tamron shares son Moses with her music manager husband Steve Greener. The two tied the knot back in March 2019 after being friends for years. They welcomed their son a little over a year later in April 2019 after IVF. In an interview with People, Tamron happily shared that her career change after leaving NBC in early 2017 allowed her to find love with her husband, whom she calls her "deepest, greatest love."
