Tamron Hall officially kicked off a new season of her talk show and she had a new look to go with it.
On September 6, The Tamron Hall Show host surprised viewers when she debuted a drastically different hairstyle for the season 4 premiere. Instead of her signature dark brown pixie haircut, the TV personality stepped out on stage with platinum blonde hair. She paired her new look with a pastel yellow frock with a mock neck and matching pants featuring slits at the ankles. What's more, a subtle dark leaf pattern popped against the bright color.
"Tell a friend to tell a friend we’re BACK. 🗣4️⃣," the As the Wicked Watch author captioned the Instagram video.
Unsurprisingly, Tamron Hall Show fans loved the change and many wasted no time showering the mom of one with compliments.
"PERIODDDDDDDDDD!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I literally SCREAMED at the tv this morning! Ma’am please continue to serve us these LEWKS!!!!" one fan exclaimed to the former Today show anchor in the comments on Instagram. "Your new look is absolutely beautiful 🔥❤️," another follower replied. "That hair!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 keep that look! Love it!" a different person said.
But this isn't the first time she's posted about the memorable style transformation. She's been slowly gearing up for this moment over on Instagram, sharing various clips and pictures of the color swap. Tamron even added a series of photos to her profile on September 6 giving audiences a 360-degree view of the entire fashion moment.
Speaking with Vogue in December 2020, she opened up about what fashion means to her.
"[The clothes] help me feel confident and just safe in my skin,” she told the outlet. “It’s your heart, your mind, and all the other things that you bring to the table, but great fashion does provide that boost ... Appreciation for fashion has always been part of the fabric of my life, pun intended.”
