Tammy Slaton Returns to Social Media Following Husband’s Death

Tammy Slaton has finally returned to Instagram, and with a smile!

The 1000-Lb Sisters star posted her latest photo set on the social media site late last night, Aug. 1, without any commentary—one of her first posts since her husband, Caleb Willingham, was confirmed dead on July 1.

She's previously spoken about experiencing the stages of grief, noting that she missed him "like crazy," so fans were relieved to see her looking a bit more upbeat in her most recent update.

The post started with a series of snaps where she kept her curly red hair pushed back from her face with a sunflower-patterned headband, smiling softly at the camera in each one.

There were a couple of more serious-face shots that followed before she posted several snaps from similar angles — closely zoomed in on her face with her forehead cut off.

The final photo found Slaton in her kitchen, a small sliver of a tattoo peeking out from behind the strap of her tank top.

"Queen Tammy for real girl your doing so amazing…life is so different!!!!!! LOVE YOU GIRL," fellow TLC star Vannessa Cross wrote in support.

"Hope you’re doing ok Tammy, sorry for your loss. You look great!" another follower wrote.

"so proud of you and happy for you! stay happy and healthy love," said another.

Slaton, who often posts selfie photo dumps on the social media site, has refrained in the month since the death of her estranged husband. "We were having problems, but I loved that man," she said in the wake of his death. "I still do."

Then reality star elected to keep the details surrounding Caleb's passing private, explaining, "It's really personal."
