Taking A Full Pull Down The "World's Longest Flow Trail"

There are a lot of long flowy descents out there. When the grade is kept around 10%, it can maximize the hillside.

In this video, Jono and Olly Wilkins take a lap down Flow Country in Petzen, Austria. This bike park trail descends over 4000 feet of elevation. Just a normal trail in the Alps!

Usually, a 20-minute YouTube video will have a bunch of filler time with the host talking. To give context about how long Flow Country is, this video features only riding for 20 minutes.

There is some dispute about how long Flow country is. According to Petzen’s website trail is 7.1 miles long. However, on Trailforks, the trail is 6 miles, and on MTB project the trail is 6.7 miles long. This is perhaps due to the different measurement techniques through all the turns.

Whatever the precise distance, it is still a crazy long descent. The Strava KOM is still over 17 minutes! See the effort below.

Flow Country is rated very highly on both mapping apps, and very approachable for people of all skill levels. It is certainly worth a visit.
