Wake up to this morning's entertainment and lifestyle headlines, from celebrity babies to major snubs.
If crop tops, chokers, neon everything, and more ’90s trends making comebacks wasn’t enough nostalgia, another trend beloved by Angela Chase, Courtney Love, Blossom, and Kelly Bundy. Celebrities today like Miranda Kerr, Kendall Jenner, Dakota Johnson, and Ashley Benson have all been spotted wearing statement logo belts looped around their equally retro high-waisted jeans. Belts with big buckles are nothing new to the fashion industry.
The 33-year-old native Australian, who lives in Malibu with her 5-year-old son, opens up about her balanced diet and how she got her incredible Met Ball abs.
Kendall Jenner and Cindy Crawford posed on the Met Gala red carpet together. Rebecca Romijn might have some beef with the likes of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid being deemed “supermodels” but Cindy Crawford and Miranda Kerr are totally on the younger generation’s side. Crawford, 50, made a point of posing with Jenner at the Met Gala, adding afterwards that she thought it was great today’s models had social media to bolster their careers. “I’m so jealous, because I feel they have this direct way to communicate with their audience that my generation didn’t have,” she told Cosmopolitan.com.
Thigh-high boots have come a long way since Julia Roberts circa Pretty Woman—all the way to the Dior runway, in fact. Once reserved for Halloween costumes, this season they represent the height of chic. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Rihanna have proven just how versatile the traditionally sexy silhouette can be, wearing them at airports, fashion shows, and red carpets, with everything from skinny jeans and slouchy sweaters to itty bitty dresses. We’ve shown you which to buy, and even suggested some styling tips, but here’s how your favorite style stars wear them in real life.
Vitalii Sediuk targeted Anna Wintour at the Chanel show as part of the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2016 on October 6, 2015 in Paris, France. Photo: Turns out that notorious ice queen Anna Wintour is even cool under pressure. When exiting Chanel’s airport-themed extravaganza at the Grand Palais on Tuesday, the editor-in-chief was met by prankster Vitalli Sediuk. The Ukranian journalist attempted to get the Vogue leader’s attention by jumping over a security barricade and shoving a microphone in her face. Sediuk, wearing color blocked pants with black mesh wrapped around his head and one gold glove, channeling Michael Jackson, also pointed a finger in Wintour’s face.
Skinny jeans, an oversize parka and ankle boots seems to be the uniform of choice amongst the hipster Brooklyn set. Last week I was in LA and out there the warm weather has every girl in town dressed in jean cut-offs or gauzy hippie dresses and no matter what, they accessorize the look with a pair of ankle boots. I don’t care if you are Reese Witherspoon or Miranda Kerr! The booties need to be retired. Now!
