Get Caught Looking Beautiful

Surprise! Even Stars Recycle Their Style

As much as we love to talk about clothes, hair, and makeup on The Thread, we hope you know that we know beauty isn't just skin deep. For this special episode, we asked our Facebook fans and Twitter followers to share photos and stories of friends and family members they've caught looking beautiful inside and out. We've loved hearing what makes these mothers, daughters, sisters and wives so special. And now we're really excited to share our favorites with you. Enjoy!

There were so many great and worthy nominees- check our Facebook wall for more - but here are a few beautiful women we'd like to introduce to you:

• Deanna nominated her mom, Francine. As a single mother, Francine helped put her two daughters through college. To Deanna, her mom's giving, loving, and selfless nature is the definition of true beauty. This holiday season she felt her mom deserved extra special pampering because she never does anything for herself.

• Victoria nominated her daughter, Priscilla who exemplifies the spirit of beauty because she sees the unique value in every human being. From the age of 10, Priscilla wanted to travel the world and speak out for children's rights. Today, while pursuing her master's degree, she runs an organization that mentors at-risk children in homeless shelters. She even reads to elementary school children during her lunch hour. She is not happy, says Victoria, unless she is accomplishing things that help others.

•Hannah nominated her mother, Susan, who has overcome many obstacles in life. She grew up in an orphanage, dropped out of school in the eighth grade to work, and then decided to go back to school to become a nurses aide when Hannah's brother was sick. At 41, she applied to medical school and finally, at age 49, she'll become an internal medicine doctor next summer.

• Rebekah nominated her mom Tawna, the rock of her family who took care of her father after a nearly-critical accident and then took care of Rebekah herself when Rebekah got very sick while pregnant with her daughter. She thinks her mother is the most beautiful when she is volunteering and helping others in need.

• Kim nominated herself- and we're glad she did. She is a military wife with two boys, whose husband has been deployed twice and is possibly deploying again. In addition to caring for her boys, ages 3 and 1, she is an active volunteer at her church and says that no matter what life throws at her she knows that she can handle anything.

We'd like to thank everyone for sharing their stories with us. All the women featured in this episode are going to receive our holiday beauty basket to help them get pampered and ready for the holidays. We've got your beauty routine covered from head to toe.

For beautiful holiday hair Herbal Essences Totally Twisted curl boosting mousse will give your curls the bounce they need. CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara and Outlast Lipstain are the perfect complements for a glamorous look, day or night. Since holidays mean a lot of socializing and not a lot of rest, Olay Total Effects daily moisturizer is a secret weapon for radiant skin. If you want to start the new year with a color boost, Clairol's Natural Instincts is a great way to get healthy-looking hair in 10 minutes. We've also included our favorites from Venus, Secret, and Olay Body.

If you've got someone in mind who could really use a little pampering, put together a beauty basket of your own and show them how beautiful you think they are.
