On Friday, the entire internet got together to shake a finger at Food Network's Ina Garten, after she refused to grant a 6-year-old cancer-stricken boy's only wish to cook with her. It worked.

The celebrity chef has decided to grant Enzo's wish, and "looks forward to inviting him to spend some time with her at the Food Network studios,"her rep tells TMZ. She's also giving him a call today to talk, one foodie to another. Apparently, Garten didn't even know about Enzo's two requests to meet her until she was roasted all over the web this weekend. If that's the case, she needs to sit whoever is fielding her press requests down for a good, long talk entitled "You're fired".

TMZ first broke the story Friday, that Garten's rep had twice turned down requests from the Make-A-Wish foundation due to scheduling conflicts. That's when the charity had to go back to Enzo, the youngest and bravest of Garten's fans, and ask him to pick another wish. Now Enzo doesn't have to.

Whatever emails, phone-calls and closed-door meetings propelled the change of heart, we're just happy it got The Barefoot Contessa and Enzo together. But it's Enzo who gets most of the credit. Make-A-Wish gave up on Garten after the first request was nixed, and it was Enzo who asked to give it second shot. He believed in her and in the wish-making process, and he was ultimately right.

He also probably got a bunch of Make-A-Wish requests granted this week, thanks to the uproar over Garten. It's a message celebrities should have gotten a long time ago: no matter how busy or important you are-when a sick child needs your help, you drop everything.
