Twilight Star Nikki Reed's Mani-Pedi Shortcut

Twihards, if you can pull yourself away from watching the headboard shake in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 trailer for just a minute, we have a cute beauty story to share. At last night's Cinema Society screening of the movie presented by DKNY, Allure correspondent Jeffrey Slonim caught up with star Nikki Reed.

Reed gushed about her husband, former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald, saying their perfect date consisted of being in the "back of our pickup truck with our dog, some sleeping bags, his guitar, and two Coronas." (Hear the two of them singing their new duet "Now that I Found You" here.) Then Reed, who did her own mani-pedi at home, let Slonim in on her secret beauty cheat:
"You should see my toenails-only the first two are painted this gray color, and then the rest are a washed out pink. They're hidden, so I didn't need to [change the polish]."

Owning it: I've painted only my visible toes before a party before. But I love that Reed went the extra-super-lazy mile, still wearing the old polish on her other toes. Also, I'm kind of into the idea of that weird color combination; while a two-toned mani might look odd, as a pedicure, gray and soft pink sounds kind of cute. What do you think of Reed's shortcut?
