Who else is glad that Carey Mullian ended up with someone other than Shia LaBeouf? Don't get me wrong, I used to be a big Shia fan-for a while there, he looked like a nice young man who had some pretty good acting chops-but then he started to get really weird, and although he and Carey dated for over a year after shooting Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps together, I was really relieved when they broke up. Why? Because I really thought Carey, who is by all accounts a delightful person as well as an astonishing actress, could do much, much better than the increasingly eccentric former Disney star.

And hey, guess what? She did! According to the UK Daily Mail, Carey tied the knot with boyfriend Marcus Mumford, lead singer of the band Mumford & Sons, in a rustic-themed ceremony in the English countryside over the weekend. Congratulations to the happy couple!

It's kind of an adorable story, actually; according to People, Carey and Marcus were childhood pen pals in London and reconnected as adults much later on. They've been dating since 2011, becoming in engaged in August of that year. The ceremony took place inside a barn at Stream Farm in Bridgewater, Somerset, with the service being conducted by Marcus' father John-who, conveniently, is a vicar. 200 guests attended, among which were stars Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Colin Firth.

What was everyone wearing? Carey's eight bridesmaids were apparently dressed in turquoise knee-length dresses with matching blue heels; Carey herself reportedly wore a full-length ivory backless dress with V-straps, which some believe was designed by Versace. With luck, we'll be getting details about the dress soon, so stay tuned!

Carey, who first garnered major attention for her work as precocious teen Jenny in 2009's An Education (though if you were paying attention earlier in her career, you've probably seen her as Ada Clare in the BBC's excellent 2005 adaptation of Charles Dickens' Bleak House, as Sally Sparrow in the terrifying Doctor Who episode "Blink," or as Nina in the acclaimed 2007/2008 production of Chekhov's The Seagull in London and New York), turned in powerhouse performances last year in Drive and Shame; her next appearance will be as Daisy Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby. Marcus, meanwhile had the sixth best-selling album of 2011 with his Mumford & Sons bandmates, Sigh No More. One thing's for sure: If they have kids, they'll undoubtedly be absurdly talented.

Congrats, you two love birds!
