Kim Kardashian's head scarf looks better in person (EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS)
You remember that awesome over-excited feeling you got when you were young and found out there was a snow day? That's how I felt yesterday when I saw Kim and Kourtney Kardashian (and Kris Humphries, but hey ... who cares). I just happened to stumble upon the Kourtney& Kim Take New York camera crew on my way to The Stir office last night. What were they doing, you ask? Getting their nails done!
I was thrilled to bump into them. OK, that's an understatement. I was freaking the ef out. In spite of my anticipation, I tried my best to stay professional and kalm as I waited with a bajillion paparazzi for Kim and Kourt to walk out of the salon. And when they finally did, I couldn't even believe my eyes.

A head scarf? Really, Kim?! If you had asked me if I'd ever have thought a hair accessory like this could have looked good, my answer would have been hell no! But dayummm, Kim K. wore it well. She was lookin' AMAZING!

I warned you they were blurry. But still cool, right? Kim looks amazing in these deep fall colors. Those maroon wide-legged pants are an absolute dream. And that nude-shaded blouse? A perfect staple piece I would love for my own wardrobe.
I've got to admit -- I was taken aback by the head scarf. But if anyone can pull it off, it's definitely Kim. The zig-zag pattern reminds me a little of the ones in the Missoni for Target collection. It's a fun way to add splash to her muted outfit. Which -- did I mention? -- I would kill to have in my closet.

One little tip: Keep the hairstyle simple if you're going to try copying Kim's fall look. She does the right thing by sticking to her signature loose waves under her bold head accessory.
Sure, yesterday was a Kardashian fan's dream, but I can't wait to see what she'll be wearing tomorrow for her 31st birthday celebrations in Las Vegas. One thing you can bet on: There probably won't be a head scarf involved. Happy birthday, Kim!
