As a child of the '80s, I loved wearing side ponytails, stonewashed jeans, leggings with slouchy socks -- the works. But now … as an adult … in the 21st century … I'm not so sure …
Clearly Hollywood doesn't share my reservations. Celebs have been popping up left and right wearing everything from off-the-shoulder "Flash Dance" shirts to makeup straight out of a Whitesnake video. Don't believe me? Check out this gallery of stars rocking (or attempting to rock) '80s trends.
Not all of them are that terrible though. This pic of Rihanna shows that you can work bright '80s makeup and still keep it modern. Crimped hair on the other hand … not so much (nice try Tyra).
