That's right, Bettys: Five years after relocating to the United States, David and Victoria Beckham are finally selling their UK home. Got £18 million (or roughly $28 million) to burn? Because if you do, you could become the new owner of the mansion affectionately known as Beckingham Palace!

According to People, Posh and Becks bought the 24-acre Hertfordshire estate back in 1999 for $4 million, just after they tied the knot. Originally a seven-bedroom home, the couple is said to have spent millions in renovations to add such things as a 52-ft. garden pavilion with a marble floor, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a recording studio, and a gym. When David signed with Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007, he, Victoria, and sons Brookyln, Romeo, andCruz headed out to LA, where they settled in an $18.2 million home on Beverly Hills' San Ysidro Drive. They kept Beckingham Palace in order to have a home base when they went back to the UK to visit.

However, they don't really seem to making it out there that often anymore; indeed, according to the UK Daily Mail, they're doing the fiscally responsible thing by selling it. Although the home holds a lot of happy memories for the family, a source told the Daily Mail that they "felt it was a waste" to hang onto it when it just "[sits] empty for months and months and months." Apparently Victoria doesn't even stay there when she's in the UK for business: It's a four-hour drive from the Hertfordshire estate to the office in London, so these days, she tends to stay right in town at The Savoy hotel.

Notably, the Beckhams are also selling their £2.5 million home in France as well. They've owned this one since 2003, but since David just re-signed with Galaxy for another two years, it's just more dead real estate wood that they don't really need. In fact, they REALLY don't need it, because Becks actually turned down an offer with France's Paris Saint-Germain football club. His reasoning? His family. Victoria and the boys have settled down nicely in the US of A, and now there's brand-new baby Harper Seven to think about, too. When David re-signed with LA Galaxy, he said, "When you're married and you have children, your priorities change. We have three amazing boys and a little girl we have to look after so now our priorities are all about them. My family are happiest here at the moment. We love living in LA, we love living in America. We've adapted to the culture and everything the country has." How's that for terrific parenting?
