Everything about Daniëlle Cathari’s work is right for right now, and if she wasn’t 23 years old, you might think she had struck a deal with the social media gods, because her label so effortlessly epitomizes Gen Z culture, it seems truly blessed.
Sneaker Con NYC is the world's largest expo for sneaker enthusiasts, held in NYC's Javits Center and attracting 19,000 attendees this year. The two-day event underserved one major group of people, though: women.

Ready for some more fiery Fashion Week rhymes? We hope so — because Hats and Raps is BACK with a rap recap of Alexander Wang’s Spring 2017 extravaganza, attended by the likes of Madonna, Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, and more. Enjoy.
The celebrity gossip-hungry world was waiting with bated breath to see which members of Alexander Wang’s buzzy #WangSquad would show up to his spring 2017 show (the answer: nearly all of them) — but the night’s real surprise was on the runway, not the sidelines. As squaders Kylie Jenner, her rapper, car-purchasing boyfriend Tyga, and singer-actress Tinashe looked on from the front row, Wang presented his loungewear-inspired new season looks, followed immediately by a finale featuring his long-rumored collaboration with German sportswear brand Adidas. The all-black collection included tees, crop tops, pants, jackets, a patent trench, and more for both men and women — all with Adidas’s recognizable trefoil logo turned upside-down. This is Wang’s first high-profile collab since his sporty, muted grayscale collection for H&M launched in November 2014 — and it’ll no doubt be a sellout.
Over 1 billion people around the world will tune in to the 2016 Olympics Opening Ceremony from Rio tonight, where the athletes will proudly walk into the Maracanã Stadium to start the Games. For the next two and a half weeks, they will be pushed to their sporting limits, but for tonight, all they have to do is look good. Many countries chose homegrown designers for this opportunity — something that makes us at Yahoo Style even more excited for tonight’s spectacle. Great Britain tapped Stella McCartney, while the U.S. is continuing to rely on Ralph Lauren.
A few years ago, as Jeremy Scott gifted the world with the hybrid shoe no one ever wanted or needed: a cowboy boot sneaker. When the style made its grand debut in 2012, the $300 Jeremy Scott Mega Soft Cell Boot was mercilessly mocked on the Internet.
We are placing an order for a big slice of humble pie to be dispatched to Kanye West – as his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner has entered into a new partnership with his athletic wear competitor Puma. Oops.
Kanye West & Kim Kardashian doing their version of smiling. Photo: Getty Images Between running multiple business ventures, filming her reality show, sitting in hair and makeup for hours a day, taking too many selfies, and raising two young kids, Kim Kardashian has proven herself quite the multitasker. And now she can add two more concurrent activities to that list: Breastfeeding and charity work! Late Wednesday night, Kardashian took to Twitter to express her desire to donate to a young girl she’d seen on television while feeding her newborn son, Saint.
Praise Yeezus: Kanye West has won an award for his accomplishments in fashion. The 38-year-old rapper-turned-designer was presented on Wednesday night in New York City with Footwear News’s "Shoe of the Year" award, for the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350—the marled gray and black sneaker that sold out its entire initial stock in under an hour when it was released in August. West, who was absolutely beaming ear to ear, began his lengthy, four-letter-word-laden acceptance speech with an explanation for his casual looking outfit, and an easy out for anyone who didn’t feel like listening.
The Washington Redskins have come under fire for years. Adidas is offering to help high schools nationwide drop Native American mascots. The athletic shoe and apparel maker said Thursday it will provide free design resources to schools looking to shelve Native American mascots, nicknames, imagery or symbolism. Adidas announced the initiative in conjunction with the White House Tribal Nations Conference on Thursday in Washington.
L.L. Bean is increasing its production and intends to make half a million duck boots this season, and if you’re not lucky enough to get your hands (and feet!) on a pair, you’ll have to wait until next year. The American heritage brand refuses to alter how the boots are made (hand stitched in Maine) in order to accommodate the surge in orders, but don’t fret.

Photo: Twitter/TeeThaGoddess Not since Malia Obama took a “How you like me” selfie wearing a Pro Era T-shirt has the internet had this much to say about the Obama daughters’ wardrobes. These aren’t the bootleg 4-stripe Adidas we used to spot in our middle school halls.
Zendaya Coleman, the outspoken Disney star who slays with her fashion-forward sense of style, ever-changing wigs, and amazing words, is at Paris Fashion Week and her presence isn’t just a breath of fresh air, it’s the missing piece, the thing you didn’t even know you needed until it made its spectacular grand entrance. The Kardashian-Jenners are overexposed (the Hadid sisters as well), Rihanna is cool but also cool, and Elizabeth Olsen is beautiful and has sisters who make amazing clothes but — let’s be honest — kind of boring. Then comes Zendaya, walking through Charles de Gaulle in athleisure, appearing like a beacon of hope. She dresses in outfits many wouldn’t dare try, cozies up to the kooky Vivienne Westwood and even wears her equally out-there designs, changes her hair from cornrows to a pixie to a topknot based on her mood, and doesn’t hold back from saying what’s on her mind.

Photo: Getty North West is a born celebrity: The tot hasn’t even turned three, but already, she knows how to capture—and keep—the attention of a massive group of cranky, sweaty, (likely) starving fashion people. Case in point? This article is supposed to be about her dad Kanye West’s latest collection for Adidas, which he showed early Wednesday afternoon in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood.
