Tacos with pasta? Middlesex County restaurant now serving both Mexican and Italian food

Want to order a side of tacos with your pasta?

Now you can.

Z Taco, a one-year-old Mexican restaurant in Millstone, was renamed Zinna's Too and now offers Italian entrees from sister restaurant Zinna’s Bistro in Cranbury.

The two restaurants are both owned by Biztro Hospitality.

Zinna’s Too serves tacos, burritos and other Mexican items, as well as Zinna’s Bistro dishes like cavatelli and broccoli rabe, and drunken chicken with panko-breaded fried chicken breast, mozzarella, basil, rigatoni and vodka sauce.

“Customers wanted to see more entrees at Z Taco, so we thought to bring two cuisines to one location,” said Isabella Eckensberger, marketing manager. “Zinna’s Bistro is 10 years old and does really well, so we wanted to merge them together.”

But don’t get too excited for chicken Parmesan tacos — no Italian and Mexican fusion dishes are currently planned.

The décor at Zinna’s Too will stay the same as it was at Z Taco. The restaurant has 50 indoor seats and 20 outdoor seats.

Although they’re both Italian, Biztro Hospitality owners Dan Bonham and Chris Zinna opened Z Taco last year to experiment with new cuisines.

“Chris wanted to try something new because he is so great at making new dishes,” Eckensberger said.
