Every six months or so, Taco Bell brings Nacho Fries back into our lives, quietly taking them away shortly after. This time around, the brand decided to announce the menu item's return in probably the least expected way. Try and stay with me here.

Chasing Gold is a fictional movie created by Taco Bell starring Darren Criss as Zack Collins. Its lead song, "Love of My Life," is "an ode to love, loss, and treasuring the good times while they're still available in restaurants," per a T. Bell press release. Sample lyric:

The melt of your cheese brought me to my knees / You got me begging baby, please don't leave

To be clear, it is 100 percent about nacho fries. The weirdest part, though, is that when you listen to the song, you think you're listening to a normal love song (until you get to the whole Do I have to say goodbye to the taste of Nacho Fries? bit). This is probably because Darren Criss has the voice of an angel, but still, my mind is blown.

All of this was done to announce the return of the aforementioned "gold": Nacho Fries! For a limited time starting June 6, you can find the side at locations nationwide; they're available for delivery via GrubHub too, but honestly, they're best served fresh.

Order them on their own for $1.29, or get the Supreme option for $2.49. Those come with seasoned beef, tomatoes, and sour cream. For a full meal (and then some), there's the $5 Box: Nacho Fries, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Doritos Locos Taco and a medium drink.

Surprisingly, this is only the fourth time Nacho Fries are appearing on menus, the last go-round having been in January.
