Taco Bell’s Revamped ‘Crispy Melt’ Taco Available For Limited Time

The ‘Crispy Melt Taco’ was first launched in October of 2021 under its previous ‘Cantina’ name, and as The Takeout suggests, maybe ‘Cantina’ was lopped off the current item “because it isn’t sold exclusively at Cantina locations.”

The taco features a freshly fried white-corn shell, a melted layer of Taco Bell’s three-cheese blend, and it also contains nacho cheese sauce, seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese.

For vegetarians, the chain is also offering the ‘Black Bean Crispy Melt Taco,’ swapping out the seasoned beef for equally filling black beans.

According to Chew Boom, while prices may vary, ‘Crispy Melt Tacos’ carry a “suggested price of $2.49 each.”

How Long Will The ‘Crispy Melt Tacos’ Be Offered In 2023?

The Takeout reports that both the ‘Crispy Melt Taco’ and ‘Black Bean Crispy Melt Taco,’ will be “around until the beginning of March,” or until supplies last.

While this is certainly coming up faster than many fans would like, there is still time to try the two tacos— act fast!
