If you’re a big fan of Taco Bell, we know you’re always excited when the company brings back a favorite menu item. And there are a lot of discontinued items we’re hoping will still return, too.

We loved it when Taco Bell quietly brought back its Double Decker Taco and the Beefy Crunch Burrito. Now, the fast food go-to is having another popular item reappear on the menu for a limited time.

Taco Bell’s Cheesy Chicken Crispanada

This past February, the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada hit Taco Bell menus, but only for a short window. After popular demand by fans wanting to see the item brought back, the Tex-Mex chain is re-adding it to its line-up for another limited-time appearance. (And reigniting calls to bring back the Caramel Apple Empanada as well).

If you couldn’t try the item during the winter months, or couldn't get enough when it was available, the time has come to hit the drive-thru again. This week marks the official return, meaning you can now grab the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada and enjoy the combo of melted cheese, juicy chicken, and Mexican spices served in a crunchy empanada-style shell. It sells for $3.49 at participating locations.

When the Crispanada was first introduced earlier this year, the company said described it as such: “Inspired by the classic empanada, the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada offers a portable delight designed for easy enjoyment anywhere, anytime and perfect for fans seeking a convenient bite with a unique twist.”

Now, Taco Bell is bringing it back so that all can enjoy the deliciousness and convenience this Cheesy Chicken Crispanada has to offer. However, it only lasted a few months on the menu last time so if you want to try it this season, you better not waste any time.
