Summer has arrived and with it a slew of launches to keep your clients’ homes comfy and cool, no matter how hot it gets. From polychromatic hand-knotted checkered rugs to intricately embroidered daisy-patterned fabrics, here are 10 highlights from the latest round of debuts.

House of Hackney unveiled a characterful furniture collection designed exclusively for 1stDibs. The collaboration offers seven one-off vintage pieces—including a three-seater sofa by Tobia Scarpa and a set of three Amanta armchairs by B&B Italia—reupholstered in an assortment of the brand’s lively botanical fabrics, as well as a super rare, daffodil-shaped floor lamp from the 1980s by Peter Bliss.

Los Angeles brand Rad launched a new online storefront with an outdoor-friendly furniture line designed specifically for residential spaces. Available in an array of powder-coated colorways, the seven-piece collection includes tables, seating and upholstered pieces with clean-lined steel frames, such as the white-oak-clad School Chair and Bent, a cafe stool composed of spun aluminum.

Eskayel’s latest floorcovering launch is a lesson in color and technique. Born from a watercolor painting exercise, the Checks collection features two hand-knotted wool rug designs outfitted in polychromatic abstract checkerboard motifs, including the multitonal Chess and the fluid, gridlike Triangle Checks.

Brunschwig & Fils debuted an eye-catching selection of embroideries named Anduze. The 13-pattern assortment draws from a wide range of international influences and includes everything from a pastel blue daisy-covered fabric called Ines to a jewel-toned suzani-style stunner called Lavali.

Caracole partnered with Ryan Saghian on the Modern Principles series. The collaboration—select pieces of which are currently available for preorder on the Los Angeles designer’s site before hitting Caracole showrooms in August—features four distinct SoCal-inspired furniture families ranging from the old Hollywood, deco-esque Movement collection to the coastal-style Unity line.

Made by Choice rolled out a delightful rainbow-hued design by artist Matthew Day Jackson just in time for NYC Pride. Now available for preorder through Pace Gallery, the launch offers the brand’s famously serpentine Kolho chair in a vibrant multicolored finish with a portion of net proceeds going directly to GLITS Foundation, a nonprofit that supports TLGBQIA+ and BIPOC community members.

Chasing Paper tapped Shelly Lynch-Sparks of Hyphen and Co. for its latest designer collaboration. An homage to the playful spirit of summertime, the series includes 12 peppy prints—offered in both traditional and peel-and-stick styles—such as the sunny yellow Resort Stripe and the pool-party-inspired People In The Water.

Frances Valentine and Annie Selke teamed up for a summer-ready capsule collection. The collaboration spans 28 sprightly soft good styles drenched in bright hues and splashy patterns, including a kaleidoscopic parrot-embroidered decorative pillow and a boldly banded throw blanket bedecked in fringe and pom-poms.

Brown Jordan reintroduced its inaugural Walter Lamb collection in honor of its 75th anniversary. Originally designed in 1947, the series features 18 rope-accented designs re-imagined in ultra weather-resistant materials such as aluminum and teak, including a contoured chaise lounge and a super curvy rocking chair.

Veronese collaborated with Sam Accoceberry on a minimalist light collection called Aktis. The linear series—which translates to “ray” or “beam” in Greek—offers a trio of wall lamps and suspended designs adorned in perforated steel and mirrored Venetian glass that casts a cool, crystalline glow.
