T&C Tried and True: Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask

I, like many women, am addicted to highlighting my hair. Every 6-8 weeks I dutifully head into the salon where my colorist paints large sections of my strands with bleach. All of this has led to a mane that is so dry and brittle that it would cause anyone to question why they started this ritual in the first place.

Since giving it up feels like sacrificing part of my core identity as a “blonde,” I spend a lot of time hunting for products that can undo some damage. That’s where Moroccanoil’s Restorative Hair Mask comes in. A few weeks after I started using the product, when my colorist examined my hair, she immediately asked me what I was using because there was such a noticeable difference. This was, to me, the ultimate seal of approval. I’ve gone through many tubs of hair masks and conditioners before, but never really saw any noticeable results. Filled with argan-oil and shea butter, this mask only needs 5-7 minutes to work its magic and make your hair feel like new.

Since the beginning of my Moroccanoil journey, I’ve come out on the other side and my hair is healthier than it has ever been. I’ve probably gone through a dozen tubs of the stuff which, for a product commitment-phobe like myself, is really saying something. When I first started, I was using this product as frequently as a conditioner. Now my prescription has been reduced to once a week.

I’d recommend this to anyone who has ever taken the bleach blonde path and needs some help getting their shiny, healthy hair back.
