It's All Systems GO! at Miaou's Paris Fashion Week Show

Miaou's new "GO!" collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week this season, capturing a fusion of delicate French design with bold American values. Aiming to offer a reflection of the Miaou girl, always on the move and to the point, the collection revives Miaou's classic corsets and signature itty-bitty styles with sportswear codes and collegiate color palettes.

Marking the brand's first foray into footwear and accessories, the collection saw the debut of Miaou's first footwear collection, designed in collaboration with GIABORGHINI, alongside jewelry by Miaou and MONDO MONDO.

Read on for Hypebae's summary of Miaou's new collection showcase.

WHO: The vibrant audience was made up of Miaou's friends and family, alongside it-girl and model of the moment, Paloma Elsesser and a slew of Emcee creators.

WHERE: Set amidst an opulent backdrop of a historic 18th-century building, a place where French Haussmann moldings meet modern decadence, the showcase aimed to replicate the Miaou girl's multifaceted nature.

SEE: Cut-out leather, visible logo waistbands and tiny, low-rise skirts made up the bulk of Miaou's new collection, offering a refined approach to contemporary sportswear and athleisure. Color palettes included bright reds and greens, interspersed with classic black and white hues alongside tones of burgundy, beige and burnt orange. Elsewhere, new footwear designed in collaboration with GIABORGHINI, made its runway debut, comprising mules, skin-tight boots and sandals.

TOUCH: Chunky silver jewelry adorned the arms, necks and waists of Miaou's models, paired alongside latex-inspired dresses, sports jersey racers and slinky skirt and top combinations. Colored and distressed leather made more than a few appearances, alongside footwear which landed in suede, python and stretch leather.

TASTE: As Miaou puts it, next season is set to be all about being the main character, whether that's through bolder outfit choices, skimpier silhouettes or simply trying something new. One to watch, for all of us.
