AVALON TV, coming October 9th worldwide only on WOW Presents Plus!

The very first teaser for Avalon TV is a shot-for-shot recreation of the trailer for the 1997 film Spice World featuring the Spice Girls. Yup, it just couldn’t get any gayer!

This new WOW Presents Plus series will feature the House of Avalon, which is best known for having RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 winner Symone and season 12 runner-up Gigi Goode as house members. The show will also include other House of Avalon stars such as Marko Monroe, Hunter Crenshaw, Grant Vanderbilt, Caleb, and Rylie.

Avalon TV is described as a “part talk show, part sketch comedy, part follow-style documentary” series that allows viewers to see Symone attending her first Met Gala, Gigi Goode going through her transition, and even a talk show hosted by Symone with special guests like Trixie Mattel, Sasha Colby, Orville Peck, Ts Madison, Dominique Jackson, Fenton Bailey, Ricky Thompson, Isis King, Abby Lee Miller, Nicole Byer, and Taylor Hale, among others.

Scroll through to meet the House of Avalon stars who’ll be featured on Avalon TV, which premieres October 9 on WOW Presents Plus.

Symone

Instagram: @the_symone

Symone has quickly made a name for herself thanks to the love and support of her House of Avalon family. Symone won season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, graced the cover of Interview Magazine, attended the 2021 Met Gala, was the face of Moschino, and was interviewed by RuPaul on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She has walked the runways for British Vogue and Luisaviaroma in Florence, Luar in NYC, and sat in countless front rows to brands like Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Acne Studios, Maison Margiela, and many more – most recently being The Queen of Versailles for the Jacquemus Paris fashion show. Symone is the heart of the house, and as her star grows, she never forgets where she came from.

Gigi Goode

Gigi Goode’s star has been rising since appearing as a finalist on season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Known for her hair, makeup, and design abilities, Gigi has crafted her own unique spot in the public eye. Her love for fashion has manifested in performing at the opening of Acne Studios in Tokyo, appearing in Jean Paul Gaultier’s fragrance campaign, and traveling all over the world to sit front row for brands like GCDS, Courreges, Valentino, and Margiela. Though not officially a member of the House of Avalon, Gigi has quickly become a close sister and an integral part of all the House Antics.

Marko Monroe

Designer and Hollywood Stylist, Marko has cut through the noise and has styled for Lizzo, Nicole Byer, Our Lady J, and Jennifer Coolidge, just to name a few. His sense of fashion has resonated with people of all ages and backgrounds, gaining him thousands of social media followers. However, he doesn’t just make clothes – he makes everything. His fellow house members know if you leave him alone with materials, his hands turn it into a work of art. Oftentimes, he’s the voice of reason, an open ear, and a shoulder to cry on.

Grant Vanderbilt

Grant and Marko were the first to become friends in college, sharing a passion for all things pop culture. Grant has an encyclopedic knowledge of film, music, television, fashion, and pop art and they put it to use in every event, photoshoot, and project the House of Avalon cooks up. Grant is the host and emcee at Avalon’s events, Sugartank and Gloss. Symone considers Grant to be her drag mother.

Hunter Crenshaw

The Kris Jenner of the house, Hunter keeps the show running smoothly and (mostly) on time. Hunter and Marko have been partners for over a decade and are the big brothers of the house. Hunter is a “straight shooter, no BS, tell it like it is” powerhouse, and though he may come off as abrasive, his approach comes from a place of unwavering love and wanting to protect his house and what they’ve built. Hunter is a fine art graduate and a curator in his own right, however, his talent for wrangling the other members of the house has proven to be beneficial as they become more in demand.

Caleb

Caleb may not be the youngest of the group, but he is definitely the baby of the family. He is a social butterfly who can be seen running around every House of Avalon event, which may also be because he runs the house’s social media and documents their parties. He also edits their videos and offers a young editorial point of view. Caleb never misses a beat catching all of the family's incredible interactions.

Rylie is Instagram's most wanted doll - dead or alive! She became a major part of the Avalon world when they met seven years ago at RuPaul’s DragCon. Her connection to Avalon was instant. Rylie is the spontaneous comedic relief and Sour Patch Kid of the family. She’s Symone's personal makeup artist with over 14 years in the industry. Rylie recently created a bra and panty set in her signature hot pink color for trans bodies as a collaboration with Zoah, a trans-owned and operated company. While having participated in multiple music videos, she now stars in her own music videos. Rylie has been an online social media icon and now she’s on your TV screens.
