Sylvester Stallone’s Son Sage Tragically Died At 36

The new Netflix documentary Sly dives into the story of Sylvester Stallone, from his childhood to his legendary film career. The 77-year-old Rocky star is a certified film icon, and the doc explores exactly how he reached the pinnacle of Hollywood fame. Of course, it also delves into his family life and the tragic story of his son, Sage's, untimely death.

With all the attention on Sylvester, thanks to his doc, it’s only natural to wonder about his family, including his kids. For the record: Sly has five children, and they all have names that start with “S,” like their famous dad. Three of his daughters even share the same middle name, Rose. Several of them, like the children of other famous movie stars, have taken after their father's penchant for acting and film, so you might recognize them from their roles in smaller productions.

So, who are Sylvester’s kids and what are they doing now? Here’s everything to know about the Stallone kids.

Sage Moonblood Stalllone, 36 (deceased)

Sage was Sylvester’s oldest child with his first wife, Sasha Czack. He was born in May of 1976, and was largely raised by his mom, Czack.

During his short life, Sage followed closely in his father's footsteps. He even played his dad's character, Rocky’s son in Rocky V, per IMDB. A 1996 People profile on the two called them “close friends offscreen.”

Sage was very interested in filmmaking, and attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for a time. He later headed back to Los Angeles, and took on an acting role, starring with his father in Daylight, which debuted in 1996.

However, as the doc explains, Sage tragically died in 2012. He had a coronary artery disease called atherosclerosis, which resulted in a heart attack, according to CNN. He was just 36 at the time of his death, but would be 47 today if he were alive.

Sylvester said in the new documentary that Sage’s role in Rocky V was inspired by real life.

“I try to take something that actually is what I wish I had done in real life, but I wasn’t able to do that in reality,” Sylvester said in the documentary. “And so quite often I would do it theatrically, magically. … A lot of that is true. Unfortunately, you put things before your family. And the repercussions are quite radical and devastating.”

Seargeoh Stallone, 44

Seargeoh is the second son of Sylvester and Czack. He was born in 1979 and was diagnosed with autism at age 3, according to People. “God and nature made him different,” Sylvester previously told the magazine.

Sophia Rose Stallone, 27

Sophia is the eldest daughter of Sylvester and model Jennifer Flavin, the actor's second wife. Sophia was born in August of 1996, according to IMDB. And her mom, Jennifer, previously told Paris Match that Sophia takes after her dad a lot.

“They think alike and even have the same gestures,” she said. "Sophia is the love of his life.”

Sophia stars alongside her dad, mom, and sisters in the reality show The Family Stallone. She hosts an online book club on Instagram and regularly shares fashionable pics on her personal Instagram account.

Sistine Rose Stallone, 25

Sistine is the second child of Jennifer and Stallone. She was born in 1998 and signed with IMG models in 2016, according to Vogue. Sistine has also acted, appearing in 47 Meters Down: Uncaged and Midnight in the Switchgrass, per IMDB.

She currently hosts the Unwaxed podcast with Sophia.

Scarlet Rose Stallone, 21

Scarlet is the youngest daughter of Jennifer and Sylvester—she was born in 2002. She appeared on The Family Stallone alongside her sisters, and has been in movies like Reach Me and the TV series Tulsa King, according to IMDB.

Scarlet splits her time between Miami, New York, and LA, according to her Instagram bio.
