It looks like Taylor Sheridan has done it again! The creative force behind Yellowstone and 1883 is back with another drama, this time a departure from the Dutton universe. He's taking on the world of the mafia in Tulsa King, and after recent casting announcements for 1932 (hello, Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford), it's no surprise that he's enlisted another Hollywood heavy hitter. In this new Paramount+ drama, the starring role goes to Sylvester Stallone. Stallone is known for his roles in blockbusters like Rocky and Rambo. This is his first time taking on a major part in a TV series.

According to Paramount+, "Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight 'The General' Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a 'crew' from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet."

Paramount+ released a teaser trailer that will have fans excited for this new drama.

Along with Sylvester Stallone, the series also stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson, and Garrett Hedlund.

The first episode will air on November 13 in a special simulcast event on Paramount+ and Paramount Network, immediately following the season 5 premiere of Yellowstone. The second episode will air on Paramount Network after Yellowstone on November 20. All remaining episodes will air exclusively on Paramount+.
