Sydney Sweeney Wore the Reebok Classic Leather Shoe Celebrities Can't Get Enough Of

If you keep tabs on Sydney Sweeney's style choices, then you know the actress loves a retro sneaker. One of her latest go-tos is a classic white sneaker that already has a legion of other celebrity fans.
For a recent outing in Los Angeles, the Euphoria wore an oversized button down and denim cutoffs with crew socks tucked into Reebok Classic Leather white sneakers (Buy It, $75, nordstrom.com). She's previously styled the same pair with cargo pants and a crop top, for an equally casual look. The crisp, cushy kicks are so popular that they're sold out on Reebok's website, but there are plenty of other Classic Leather colors and designs to choose from if you're not married to Sweeney's pair. If you only have eyes for Sweeney's Classic Leather white shoes, you can find limited sizes available at Nordstrom and ASOS.

As for why the Reebok Classic Leather has inspired such a frenzy since its 1983 launch, the shoe was first marketed as a lightweight running shoe — a breath of fresh air compared to the styles available at that point in time, according to the style pros at SSense. Designed with leather, suede, and nylon, it had built-in shock protection for stability and air vents to increase breathability.
The Classic Leather has seen plenty of revamps and redesigns over the years, but there's a reason that the style remains, well, a classic. Even though it takes some effort to keep them looking fresh and clean (Reebok even offers a four-step crash course in cleaning your Classic Leathers), they look cool with just about anything, which is probably why celebs (including Sweeney) can't stop sporting them.

Zoë Kravitz has sported her black pair multiple times, and singer Tove Lo even donned a metallic copper version on the red carpet at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards with an all-white dress. So yeah, it's safe to say this shoe is versatile enough for running errands on a sunny day à la Sweeney, attending a yoga class like the Duchess of Sussex, or even hitting the red carpet like Tove Lo.
