Sydney Sweeney Talked About Her Dad And Grandpa's Not-So-Great-Reaction To Her "Euphoria" Scenes

Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney stopped by Sunday Today to promote her new film Reality. The interview hasn't been released yet, but there are clips online.

Sydney talked about her dad and grandpa's less-than-great reaction to watching her in the hit HBO show, which features explicit content and nudity.

"My mom knew [about the explicit nature of the show]," Sydney shared. "My mom visited me on set a few times, so she knew the story, and I talked to her a lot about it."

"Yeah, I didn’t prepare my dad — at all," Sydney added.

"I mean, how do you bring up a conversation? Also, when I talk to my dad it’s usually not about work. We talk father-daughter conversations."

"So yeah, he decided he was gonna watch it without telling me — with his parents," Sydney said.

"My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked off. My grandma — she's a big supporter of mine."

Sydney said she makes it a point to make her grandma an extra in her projects, since she's such a big fan of her work.

We love that! As for her dad, he's probably still getting to used to Sydney being such a big star. Sydney's Sunday Today interview airs this Sunday.
