Sydney Sweeney shared never-before-seen pictures of her Euphoria transformation
Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has posted a series of never-before-seen pictures from the set of Euphoria, showing the incredible transformation she went through as part of her character's storyline for season 2 episode 2 of the hit series. Big spoilers below!
If, like us, you're absolutely obsessed with all thing Euphoria right now, you'll be pretty keen to see all the BTS snaps you can get your hands on. Good news, then, that Sydney posted a whole load of photos of the cast and crew on the set of the HBO series, along with a number of pics and some logistical info on her Story explaining how exactly her pregnant belly was done.
In season 2 episode 2 of the show her character Cassie Howard appears heavily pregnant, and in the pictures posted to her Instagram Sydney reveals how the bump was made and fitted to her body.
The first picture showed Sydney in a bikini with the camera-ready belly, along with the caption, "This belly was insane."
Next up, she shared a series of pictures explaining the whole process, which looks like *a lot*.
"Had to do a full body cast so they could make the prosthetic belly," she details, along with a picture of the blue mixture used to make the cast; "First layer of goop. Had to be very still."
She continued with a picture of the "full body cast" going over the mold which was used as the basis for a prosthetic pregnancy bump made to fit around her torso perfectly.
She explained that the final step of the process was sounded like a slightly painful experience; "Then they basically paper machete[d] me," she explained, adding, "Once dried they cut me out of it! It was basically a wax job removing it."
Then finally she showed an image of her trying on the prosthetic belly, explaining that they "made the belly out of the mold, glue it to me, and paint[ed] it!"
