Sydney Sweeney Rocks An LBD And Matching Leather Jacket For A Date Night With Fiancé Amid Glen Powell Affair Rumors

Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé Jonathan Davino recently enjoyed a romantic date night out in New York City, and the outing was made even more special by Sweeney’s sultry and sizzling ensemble.

The Euphoria actress stepped out in a thigh-skimming little black dress paired with thigh-high boots and a matching leather jacket, perfectly coordinating with her beau. The White Lotus alum’s sleek all-black moment comes as rumors continue to swirl that she had an affair with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell.

As the ever-so-stylish Sweeney left NYC’s celeb hotspot Sake No Hana with restauranteur Davino (who she’s been engaged to since February 2022), she donned a strapless black mini dress by Brandon Maxwell with a leather jacket by Khaite worn over it, and shiny pointed-toe heeled boots. Her edgy jacket featured vertical zipper detailing, and she accessorized her look with silver hoop earrings.

The 25-year-old Handmaid’s Tale star wore her signature long blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled straight. As for her glam, she sported smudgy black liner, voluminous mascara, rosy blush on her cheekbones and baby pink lipstick.

Davino wore a leather jacket as well, adding a black tee under it and trousers and shoes of the same shade. As the couple were snapped by paparazzi, the 38-year-old placed his hands on Sweeney’s back according to Page Six, and they looked relaxed.

Rumors Fly: Was Sweeney Romantically Linked to Glen Powell?

For the past few months, Sweeney and Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell have been filming an upcoming rom-com together called Anyone But You, and promoting it via their social media accounts.

Fans of the two have called out their undeniable off-screen chemistry, and after Powell recently split from his girlfriend of three years Gigi Paris, rumors of Sweeney having an affair with him have run rampant online.

Many Twitter users began theorizing about the rumored romance after Sweeney and Powell were seen hanging out more and more, even while off their movie’s Australian set (despite her being engaged to Davino and him dating model Paris).

Last week, Paris unfollowed both her ex Powell and Sweeney on Instagram and uploaded a cryptic post. In a caption for her followers, Paris wrote, “Know your worth & onto the next.”

Some fans then found the affair rumors even more convincing after this. Back in March, Sweeney visited a zoo with Powell and his family, and some TikTokers found them to be looking “way too cozy.”

An insider reportedly told Page Six that Paris didn’t visit her then-boyfriend Powell in Australia because she was “in the states working.” A sepearate source also apparently dished to the publication that Powell and Paris broke up amicably last month before the Sweeney-related affair rumors emerged.

Many continue to argue that Sweeney and Powell are simply promoting a romantic movie, and that their chemistry is why they were cast in it, and nothing more. Others continue to be convinced that the affair rumors are true.
