The Sweetest Summer Picnic Engagement with a Patriotic Vibe

The Fourth has always been a special time for my husband and I. Twelve summers ago, he took me on his parents boat for the first time to watch the fireworks from the ocean. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was such a memorable time for the both of us, that we chose to get married on July 2nd, three years ago. And although this stunning e-sesh from Jen Huang has nothing to do with the 4th (it was actually inspired by the couple's European engagement!), I'm loving the coincidental patriotic vibe. And I will 100% be planning a future anniversary sesh with my own hubs, completely inspired by this sweet gallery.

From Jen Huang... Katie and Mike were engaged in Europe and so it was fitting to design their engagement shoot to reflect their love! I brought along one of my cutest new additions - a gray bike with baskets from Ikea (awesome find!) and a collection of my favorite hand made baskets from France. Katie and Mike supplied the yummy bubbly, flowers and bread. We shot at a beloved neighborhood park in Los Angeles called Arlington Garden. Katie wore a colorful sundress to match the casual, yet romantic mood.
