Get ready to pour it out with the ladies of Serenity in another 10-episode season of Sweet Magnolias!

Netflix has renewed the popular series for a fourth season, with stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott, and Heather Headley set to reprise their roles in the popular romance drama.

The show, which is based on the books of the same name by Sherryl Woods, is a tale of friendship, family, and romance set in the fictional South Carolina town of Serenity. The feel-good series centers around three best friends, Maddie, Dana Sue (Elliott), and Helen (Headley) as they navigate life, love, and business in their charming small town with a little help from a long-standing margarita night.

Showrunner and executive producer, Sheryl J. Anderson, is set to return for the third installment, as is Woods, who serves as an executive producer on the show.

The third season of the soapy hit debuted at #1 when it premiered on Netflix on July 20, 2023. According to Netflix, all three seasons of Sweet Magnolias have been in the Global Top 10 for 10 weeks in over 60 countries.

The Season 4 renewal of Sweet Magnolias joins a growing lineup of “comfort” and lighter-scripted dramas at Netflix that includes original hits like Virgin River (renewed for Season 6), The Lincoln Lawyer (renewed for Season 3), Ginny & Georgia (renewed for Seasons 3 and 4), licensed hits such as Suits, and fan-favorites like Firefly Lane and Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings.

Season 4 of Sweet Magnolias promises plenty more twists and turns and, hopefully, some answers to our most burning questions.

Hold onto those margaritas, y'all!
