‘Sweet Magnolias’ Fans Bombard JoAnna Garcia Swisher’s Tribute to Her Husband

JoAnna Garcia Swisher is marking a personal milestone, and she's using the celebration to pay tribute to a special someone.
The Sweet Magnolias star has been married to former MLB player Nick Swisher for over a decade, and she recently went on Instagram to commemorate their 13th wedding anniversary. Joanna uploaded a video montage full of sweet candid moments between the two, and couldn't help but write about how much she appreciates having Nick in her corner through the highs and lows of her life.
"🍀Lucky #13 🍀," she emotionally captioned the snippet on December 11. "We have been through so much @yourboyswish and the gratitude that I have for the life we have built together is beyond words. You are truly my ride or die, best friend, biggest cheerleader, fiercest protector, and the most incredible teammate. I love you so much, Nick! Happy Anniversary!"
Shortly after she posted the clip online, Nick went into the comments to reply with his own sentimental note. "Love you so much Princess!!😘😍🥰," he affectionately responded.
Upon seeing the post, fans immediately wished the couple congratulations on marking another year together.
"Aww, happy anniversary. Marriage is beautiful. Hope y’all have the best time celebrating," one person wrote on Instagram. "Love you guys ❤️ Cheers to 13 years🥂," another agreed. "Happy Anniversary 🥂 wishing for many more blessings!!!" a different follower added.
As fans may know, JoAnna and Nick first started dating back in 2009 after a mutual friend set the two up on a date. The couple eventually tied the knot in Palm Beach, Florida in December 2010, where JoAnna's former TV co-star Reba McEntire was part of the wedding party. Since then, JoAnna and Nick welcomed daughters Emerson Jay and Sailor Stevie in 2013 and 2016 respectively.
When speaking to Us Weekly in February 2018 about what life is like with her husband, Joanna shared that the two's romance is based in being friends first.
"We have a very real friendship," she said at the time. "The one thing that really enchanted me about Nick when I first met him was he obviously was a young, successful guy, but he was so happy and grateful. And I think we both have that spirit. So we work hard at staying close and connected."
