The British royal family may lay claim to some truly stunning tiaras, but they're not the only royals who know how to shine in show-stopping diadems. The Swedish royal family proved just that with a set of portraits for their new official website.

Included in the portraits are King Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife, Queen Silvia, their daughter and heir Crown Princess Victoria, their son Prince Carl Philip, and youngest daughter Princess Madeleine, as well as Victoria's husband Prince Daniel and their two children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar and Carl Philip's wife Princess Sofia. While both Princess Madeleine and Prince Carl Philip have children of their own, they were not pictured, as a 2019 law removed their HRH status and their official capacity as members of the royal household in an attempt to minimize the number of working royals who receive payment for official duties (the children maintained their titles and status as members of the royal family.)

In addition to a set of photos with the family in everyday garb, the website also includes some more formal portraits in which the ladies of the royal house got to stun in some of their finest tiaras.

For the occasion, Queen Silvia chose the famed Swedish Cameo Tiara—the same one memorably worn by Crown Princess Victoria on her wedding day. Thought to have been made for Empress Joséphine of France shortly after her marriage to Napoleon I, the tiara includes seven cameos encircled by pearls. It is part of a set that includes the matching necklace and brooch that appear in Silvia's portrait along with a pair of earrings.

The Crown Princess herself wore the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara, while her sister Princess Madeleine wore the Modern Fringe Tiara, and Princess Sofia wore the Palmette Tiara.

While the 10 year old Princess Estelle is second-in-line to the throne, after her mother Victoria, she was not photographed wearing a tiara, as they are traditionally reserved for women of the royal family who have already been married.
