Suzanne Somers, 73, told to 'show some class' after baring all in 'birthday suit' photo

Suzanne Somers rang in her 73rd year around the sun the same way it all began on Oct. 16, 1946 — naked.

The Three's Company star shared a photo on Wednesday where she appears fully in the nude in a field of flowers and tall grass. The reactions to the naked shot, similar to when Somers shared a photo of herself in her outdoor bathtub on her Palm Springs estate, were mixed.

While many commenters on the social media post, shared on both Somers's Instagram and Facebook, simply wished the star a happy birthday, others believe that the actress is "too old" to be acting like this, and said it was in "bad taste."

"Suzanne I hate to say this but I don't think that picture is Tastefully done it looks gross," one commenter wrote.

"Jealous?? Hardly!! I’m an extremely open minded woman but this photo is lacking class," another person wrote on Instagram. "Suzanne just doesn’t look good anymore to flaunt herself in her old bday suit. Sorry Suzi but you’re too old for this. Show some class (if you can find it) and put on a tshirt & jeans and then you will look hot."

“Why...you are [too] old to be acting like this,” one criticized.

However, the naysayers of nudity were quickly put in their place by more supportive fans.

"She looks amazing and if you followed her on any social media you’d know she’s beautiful inside and out," one person snapped. "Flaunt it if you’ve got it! And she still has it big time!"

"'Too old to be acting like this,' is what some people say," another wrote. "Thankfully, she doesn't give a flying 'fig' what they think."

Others praised Somers for her confidence, adding that the posts may inspire others to embrace their own bodies.

"How about you! You are a role model to show people how to be confident and successful," one shared. Another added, "You look amazing! Happy birthday and I hope you do this every year at any age as I know you’ll always be beautiful."
