This Sustainable Everlane Windbreaker Is Going to Be the Brand's Next Viral Hit

We know for a fact it’s possible for a practical windbreaker to look good because Everlane just unveiled an impossibly cool rain jacket to prove it.
The Meghan Markle-loved brand recently introduced The ReNew Windbreaker, a sustainably produced jacket that’s water-resistant, lightweight, fashionable, and environmentally friendly. It features a drawstring hood, a zippered front with snap closures, two front pockets, and an adjustable waist that you can cinch or leave loose. Equal parts sporty and classic, the jacket can just as easily be worn with jeans and a blouse or joggers and a hoodie.
The 100 percent polyester fabric is made entirely from recycled plastic water bottles (21, to be exact). Only the zippers and trim required new materials, though Everlane is currently figuring out how to source them from recycled goods. Not only is it sustainably made, it’s also incredibly easy to care for. When it needs a refresh, you can simply toss the durable jacket in the washing machine and the dryer on a low setting.
You might expect the eco-friendly jacket to cost upwards of $100, but this one will only set you back $78. It’s currently available in four neutral earth tones: hemp yellow, canvas white, midnight black, and light sage green. Pick your favorite color and add the stylish wardrobe staple to your closet.
