Sustainable cleaning brand Grove Collaborative’s new eco-friendly collection is a space-saver’s dream

Eco-friendly personal care essentials brand Glove Collaborative set itself ahead of its competitors in February 2020, pledging to go entirely plastic-free by 2025.
To take another step towards this goal, the brand chose to reinvent its traditional cleaning products, once packaged in sustainable plastic, by launching its first-ever line of 21 entirely plastic-free cleaning products.
Aptly titled “Beyond Plastic,” this line features both glass and aluminum containers and is on track to save an additional 50,000 pounds of plastic in its first year of sales. Pairing these products with Grove Co.’s glass spray bottles and soap dispensers, this new line further pushes the brand’s goal for eventual complete sustainability.
Some of the most popular products in Grove Collaborative’s Beyond Plastic line include a Glass Spray Bottle with a Silicone Sleeve, Glass Home Cleaning Concentrates, High Performance Dish Soap, Hydrating Hand Soap, Foaming Hand Soap and more.
There are also so many benefits of switching over from plastic to glass and aluminum. According to the brand, by switching to glass bottles with aluminum caps, “over nine tons of plastic will be eliminated from the landfill per year.” And switching to aluminum bottles will eliminate around 17.5 tons of plastic per year.
Also, both clear glass and aluminum are infinitely recyclable. Plastic, on the other hand, is only recyclable up to two times before it needs to be tossed.
Also, with this thoughtfully crafted line, there’s no more need to stock up on multiple bottles of dish soap, hand soap, glass cleaners, etc. Simply purchase the refills to replenish your reusable glass dispensers, and you’re good to go!
