Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to spend Christmas with the royal family amid Queen Elizabeth’s recent hospitalization. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, Harry is “hoping to go back home for Christmas with Meghan, if not before, so that she can finally get to meet Lilibet and see Archie again.”

The same source said that the Queen’s recent hospitalization sent Harry into “panic mode” and that he “felt helpless being 5,000 miles away in Montecito and has been checking in nonstop with her.”

The Sun had previously reported that the Queen’s staff were undecided about inviting Harry to Christmas, with an insider saying, “There has also been discussion about Christmas—and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan, after they spurned one last year.”

Meanwhile, royal biographer Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Biography of a Prince, recently said that the royals still have trust issues with Harry and Meghan—especially due to their rumored Netflix documentary and Harry’s upcoming memoir.

“The Queen would be delighted because she adores Harry—and also, you love a child even though you disagree with everything they are doing—but I think for the other royals, it is quite a stiff time where everybody has a very explicit diary of changing five times a day and what they have to do at what time,” she explained. “I think it will be very, very difficult if they come over because the feeling is you can’t trust them and they might use this for their next documentary or for his next book.”

I mean…sounds like Harry just wants to visit his grandma, so hopefully everyone can set aside their drama and enjoy a nice holiday together!
