A source tells BAZAAR.com that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in San Francisco earlier this week as part of their ongoing work to develop and build their new charitable organization. They held a brainstorming session and meetings with professors and academics at Stanford University to research ideas and initiatives for their upcoming charity venture.
According to Today.com, the royal couple were met by the university's president, Marc Tessier-Lavigne, upon their arrival at Stanford. The two reportedly flew commercial from Canada—where they are residing in their post-royal life—for the secret meeting.
Though the pair announced their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family last month, the two remain dedicated to promoting charitable work in the vein of their original royal duties.
Both Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have retained a low profile since their official departure from the royal family. Aside from spending quiet family time together in Canada with their young son, Archie, the couple also stepped out in Miami last week for a high profile summit hosted by JPMorgan.
