Sussexes Are "Heeding Government Advice" amid Coronavirus Concerns
According to a palace source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are following government advice as the world continues to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
"Like everyone, they are taking government advice, and if and when they are specifically made aware of being in contact with someone who has tested positive, they will act accordingly," a source tells BAZAAR.com.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan opted not to bring their young son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, abroad for their recent trip to the United Kingdom, due to the virus actively spreading across Europe.
The Sussexes are ensuring that they're taking proper precautions to remain safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a palace source, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are following government advice when it comes to navigating life while combating the virus. Both royals are currently back in Canada after completing their final round of royal engagements in England last week.
"[The Sussexes are] taking the appropriate measure of heeding government advice. Like everyone, they are taking government advice, and if and when they are specifically made aware of being in contact with someone who has tested positive, they will act accordingly," a palace source tells BAZAAR.com. "We are not commenting or guiding further on private medical details."
It was recently revealed that the royal couple decided not to bring their 10-month-old son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, along for their recent trip to the United Kingdom, due to the growing concern over the pandemic.
Along with the Sussexes, coronavirus has continued to affect the rest of the royal family as well, with Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and, of course, the queen all canceling or postponing upcoming working engagements.
