Susan Sarandon’s glorious cleavage has been stealing the spotlight ever since it made its debut in 1975’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now Marc Jacobs is highlighting Sarandon’s ample assets in his glamorous fall 2016 ad campaign. On his Instagram, Jacobs praised not only Sarandon’s sex appeal but also her “intelligence, courage, strength, conviction, and ballsiness,” and her “inherent seductive quality.”

“SUSAN, Seduction Like so many teenagers, I spent countless Friday and Saturday nights at midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the 8th Street Playhouse (which is still standing!) and the Festival Theatre on 57th Street (which has long since closed). TRHPS was a coming of age and right of passage. It became an invitation (or excuse) to dress up and express oneself fearlessly. The cult classic made it cool for boys to wear sequins, satin and fishnets. I fell in love with Susan Sarandon’s onscreen portrayal of Janet during her “loss of innocence” scene by way of a crossdressing alien and her giddy, ecstatic rendition of, “touch-a, touch-a, touch me…” There was a subtle rebellious quality that I found in Susan with how she chose to play Janet and perhaps (as I now look back on it) her decision as a young actor to take a role in a film that challenged the notion of gender roles. In the hyper-stylized, gothic film, The Hunger, Susan’s portrayal as the lesbian love interest of vampire Catherine Deneuve was yet another progressive challenging of normal and a testament to Susan’s artistic exploration of boundaries. It was in my early days at Perry Ellis when I first had the privilege of meeting Susan. Her intelligence, courage, strength, conviction and ballsiness has always been so admirable to me. There’s an inherent seductive quality in Susan as a woman who always speaks her mind and an artist who takes risks. Her talent as an actress is one of extraordinary range, talent and power. At 69, Sarandon is proud of her “girls” and has self-assuredly marched them down many red carpet events — including the SAG Awards earlier this year. Sporting a revealing black bra peeking through a white blazer, Sarandon was on hand to introduce the show’s “In Memoriam” tribute. This prompted an uptight Piers Morgan to pipe up on Twitter:

Scores of women quickly came to the actress’s defense, flashing their own cleavage to Morgan on Twitter. “I love the solidarity of women that came forward,” Sarandon said, addressing the controversy — which was dubbed #cleavagegate — on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Then she took a sarcastic swing at the British journalist, adding, “I think his mother nursed. I hate to say he’s milking the situation.”

Continuing to take the criticism in stride, Sarandon even tweeted a screen shot of her scantily clad turn in Rocky Horror with the caption “Today’s #TBT is dedicated to @piersmorgan.”

Jack Robbins, Sarandon’s 26-year-old son, also struck back at 51-year-old Morgan, calling his comments about Sarandon’s revealing outfit “ageist and sexist” and said that his mom “has a right to be proud of her body,” according to the Mirror.

Sarandon’s décolletage even took on Cannes in May. There, Sarandon and the well-endowed Salma Hayek decided to snap a cheeky selfie comparing their curves and post it to Instagram. “Susan, you are bigger than me!” a shocked Hayek captioned the photo.

Fans were in on the joke, commenting, “At least they’re not fake ones. All natural real” and “She is an immense actress (Susan S) both are dynamite.”

Much like a good bra, we’re in full support of Sarandon’s ageless boobs.
