'Survivor' Alum Joe Anglim Is Unrecognizable After a Drastic Hair Cut
Joe Anglim, who starred on three seasons of Survivor, recently cut his hair.
The reality star donated his curls to Locks of Love.
Fellow Survivor alums complimented Joe on his new look.
It looks like three-time Survivor alum Joe Anglim is following in Chip Gaines's footsteps regarding his recent makeover-and in more ways than one. Not only did Joe cut off nearly all of his luscious locks, but he did so to benefit charity, too
The idea came from superstar Sia, who tweeted Joe and wrote that if he donated his hair to charity, she'd give him $15,000. Joe responded: "I always said I would only cut my hair for charity." His only condition was that her generous offer also be donated-and she agreed.
The official Survivor Instagram account then uploaded a series of photos showing the before and afters of Joe's noble haircut. According to a post by the BLK LBL Instagram account, which is a men's hair care line that assisted in the process, Joe's tresses were donated to Locks of Love. The organization provides "the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children free of charge," according to its website.

Clearly by the big smile and the thumbs up, the 29-year-old, who appeared on seasons 30, 31, and 38 of the series, loves his new 'do! Of course, he isn't the only one. Several fellow reality show stars took to the comments to compliment Joe's transformation. Wendell Holland, who took home the top spot on Survivor: Ghost Island, wrote, "Ayeeee I see you @janglim21! Looks good!" Jay Starrett, who appeared on Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, commented, "Looking fresh boiii." And Eliza Orlins, who's been on two seasons of Survivor and season 31 of The Amazing Race added a heart-eyed emoji.
The sweetest comment of all was by Joe's fiancée-yet another fellow Survivor alum-Sierra Dawn Thomas. She posted her own picture with Joe along with the caption: "Thank you @officialsurvivor_cbs and @siamusic for allowing Joe to bring awareness for such an amazing cause through him donating his hair. Bald, long hair, short hair, I love him for his heart."

We have to agree-long or short, when it involves donating to charity, we love it all!
