If you're mopping your floor and not pretending that your mop's handle is a microphone as you belt out your jam for an audience of probably just your cat, then I have some bad news for you: You're missing out. If you need a cleaning playlist—or yours is a little bit dusty— basement specialist OBW just released some findings that might help you find your next cleaning power anthem.

The company recently surveyed over 4,000 Americans on their cleaning habits and found that 84% listen to music while spraying and scrubbing. With that in mind, OBW also looked into what folks are listening to by analyzing over 100 Spotify playlists with the words ‘housework’ and ‘cleaning’ in the title to see which tunes were most common. Below, you can find the top 20 tracks.

The 20 Most Popular Housework Songs on Spotify

  1. I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor

  2. Young Hearts Run Free – Candi Station

  3. Murder On The Dance Floor – Sophie Ellis Bexter

  4. Spinning Around – Kylie Minogue

  5. No Scrubs – TLC

  6. That Don’t Impress Me Much – Shania Twain

  7. Superstar – Jamelia

  8. September – Earth, Wind & Fire

  9. Club Tropicana – Wham!

  10. Toxic – Britney Spears

  11. Girls Just Want To Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper

  16. Umbrella – Rihanna

  17. Say My Name – Destiny’s Child

  18. Love on top – Beyonce

  19. Footloose – Kenny Loggins

  20. The Best – Tina Turner

Pretty wild, huh? It appears that most of the tracks are from the 2010s or before. Also, all are chart-topping hits (sadly, no one is cleaning their windows while listening to alternative indie rock). A few songs even don cleaning-inspired titles (TLC's "No Scrubs," and Britney Spears' "Toxic," etc.). Plus, I'm sure we can all agree that Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" placing first is hilarious and also very relatable.

As we mentioned, OBW also conducted a survey of over 4,000 people pertaining to housework habits. You can check the findings from it below.
